RE: HOLY TERROR BATMAN !
Yeah, same here--I mean, if it weren't for finding a copy of Dark Knight Returns at my local Borders at the tender age of 11-or-so, I don't think I would have ever gotten into comics in the first place.

RE: HOLY TERROR BATMAN !
I just think it's hilarious that the original title of this book was a play on Robin's old catchphrase, but it isn't a Batman book anymore so that doesn't really make sense. And after All-Star Batman and Robin, Miller couldn't produce any new material for me to waste my time on.

I feel lucky I wasn't reading comics when there were still expectations for the first issue of All-Star Batman & Robin, can you even imagine what those people were thinking at the time ? I wouldn't have considered something by Frank Miller and Jim Lee to be anything less than slices of glorious heaven on paper, the dissapointment must've been brutal. |

RE: HOLY TERROR BATMAN !
...Honestly? I really love All-Star Batman. I mean, if it was meant to be the "official" take on how the two met, then I might not have liked it so much, but as it's own little universe where Miller and Lee can have fun in? Just vast entertainment.

RE: HOLY TERROR BATMAN !
All-Star Batman and Robin is insane in all the right ways. I'm totally expecting the same from Holy Terror.

If he was forced to save either Frank Miller or his entire family, then it would be Frank Miller's luckiest day. |
