RE: Introductions
Hey-o.

Chris "Chance!" Brown.
28, Former everything.
Current freelance illustrator/animator, engine assembly monkey, et cetera.

I've been reading everything I could since my first comic back in 1984.
Comics, novels, et cetera.
Have a B.A./some grad in Germanic and English lit, taught high school (art, phys. ed and english) as a long and short term sub.

I'm currently just doing things, tweeting things, and trying to make sense of it all.

So, that's what I got. I'm not as impressive as I am on paper. Heh.

Hi, I'm Josh. I like Superman and have a dog. my girlfriend wouldn't let me name him Krypto. we eventually settled on Hank (as in Venture). I have an unrestrained love for Fabian/Bagley New Warriors and the fifth season of Angel (don't hate).

RE: Introductions
Hello, my name is Palmer (OR IS IT?!) and I'm 21. I'm currently living in the city of Berkeley, California where I'm a student at the university. My first comic book was given to me at the age of six and was an adaptation of the Batman and Robin movie. I didn't really get into comics until I was fourteen and I've recently put my comic book buying on hold while I'm at school.

I can't begin to understand half the stuff Grant Morrison writes but I love the hell out of it, I think that Dick Grayson might be a better Batman than Bruce Wayne (even though he doesn't have the chest hair for it) and I kind of, sort of think that Ben Riley was a cool character. Even if my only exposure to him was in the Spider-Man cartoon in the 90s.

RE: Introductions
Name is Daniel
I'm 33, which is about 6 years older than I would like to be because several reasons.
I'm severely unemployed for a living. So I guess I can say I'm an artist for a living now, even tho I have never been employed as an artist. In September I am doing a webcomic with Matt Wilson. We aren't allowed to mention it on this forum because Curt and Chris do not like to be upstaged. They are already handsome and funny, I do not understand why they feel the need to step on us ugly people more than they already do.
I complain a hell of a lot on Twitter. I'm pretty vocal about my opinions good or bad.
People usually think I am being an a-hole, which makes me feel crummy and/or angry, but I guess I can't do anything about it. I'm apologizing in advance.
I get extremely nervous around girls who are single.
My favorite artist is Jack Kirby, My favorite author is Grant Morrison. My favorite comic book is X-Men #1 by Chris Claremont and Jim Lee.
I love movies of all kinds, good or bad. I love music of all kinds.
I am not very good at fighting or fighting games.
I am here because LBFA promised there would eventually be girls to talk to.

RE: Introductions
i'm mitz, i'm from the UK, i do things on the internets and i run a comic store.

i like ponies and dazzler. although what's with her new costume? what's that yellow bit coming out of her crotch supposed to be? also i don't understand batman. i love the x-men, even when they're terrible. i can't spell bill sienkiwizikplkt's last name, let alone pronounce it. you remember how good he used to draw legion in new mutants? when people draw that dude now he looks like he should be mates with bebop and rocksteady. seriously he just spent like six issues in x-men legacy dressed in his PJs yet he still had time to apply eight cans of hairspray.

i digress - i do love dazzler. is there a limit on how many times i'm allowed to bring up dazzler per post?

My name is Mikal kHill. I rap, play NES as an instrument and have a band called the ThoughtCriminals. I have no idea who my favorite character is anymore, but I am fond of Cerebus the Aardvark, if only because he is such a complete and total asshole with such contempt for the world.
