RE: Introductions
Hello, my name is Tim. I'm a 21-year-old college student in Atlanta. I'm a journalism student and do a lot of academic writing about comics for my co-major. I even helped teach a class on comics last semester. I've also been a music writer and a proper journalist at times too.
My introduction into comics was BTAS. It was the first show I ever watched, and I was absolutely enthralled. Seeing "Heart of Ice" be Once I watched the X-Men cartoon and got the toys, I was totally hooked. My first actual comic came when I was four years old and my dad brought me back a stack of X-Men comics after a business trip. I started collecting comics before I could read. Every time I've come close to dropping comics or walking away from them, I've read or reread just the right book to keep me hooked (Morrison's JLA at 10, Ellis' Planetary at 13, Morrison's New X-Men at 16). While I started out as a fan of the characters (the X-Men and Batman, mainly), I'm just a complete fan of the format, and have applied that knowledge in my academic career, to my shock and awe. |

RE: Introductions
I'm the triple-exclusive retailer incentive Chris Sims with miscolored barbecue sauce, so it looks like vinegar-style and 57 points of articulation, none of which are where actual human joints would be.
Also, I'm signed by Jim Balent. |
