I read Raina Telgemeier's Smile at the library today and holy moley is that a ridiculously good graphic novel. Like on the style alone that's in my top reads, for sure. Also as a guy who at separate times has been both a young teen and someone with braces, I totally got into it. So good.

I'm enjoying trying to draw myself in the style of Barbucci & Canepa's Sky Doll. Which means that yes, I am just changing the hair on Frida Decibel and declaring myself a genius.

Also the manga series High Kyuu/Haikyu/HQ!, a volleyball sports title that seems obsessed with having a name no-one can agree on. The quicker it's licensed is the quicker I actually have a clue.

Oh and Nicki Minaj, because Starships and Roman Holiday are dangerous, dangerous songs

So good, you guys. SO GOOD. Like, it was so damn fun and oh my glob the quips and the emma stone and the andrew garfield and the everything. Not as great as Avengers, but man, I loved practically everything about it (Even if Lizard looked a bit...off) and I was worried about Denis Leary as Captain Stacy, but man. That guy rocked it.

Not going to lie, though, I was disappointed in
