As much as I wish I liked his work, Hickman does nothing for me. His Marvel work I find to be tedious and his indie stuff is full of great ideas but cut with cardboard characters and rote plots.

I'm really glad I'm not the only one; I think he's certainly a talented writer, and he definitely writes well, I just find I don't care in almost all cases.
