I wish someone had said "Make sure your speakers are on!" when I saw it, because that would have at least given me a clue of what was about to happen. As it is, I think I lost ten years of my life today.

The problem with telling someone to turn on their speakers is that you're giving them a hint of what's going to happen.

My speakers were on but I had them fairly low so the full effect of the shitting-my-pantsness was dulled. Still freaked me out, a lot!
