I watched the Muppet/Fraggle Rock/Sesame Street Christmas special for the first time last year, and it was so good that it actually got me depressed about the lack of a current Muppet show.

And for the record, all of Fraggle Rock is streaming on Netflix.

Fraggle Rock is also on the HUB every day.

Got the Green Album. They blow their wad early; they put all the best most recognizable songs (besides Not Easy being green) in the front half, so the second half feels weaker.

What in god's name were those little construction guys building with? Why were they building it? What was the endgame on the building? Was it a town?

There was no endgame. They built because the fraggles destroyed. It's all very existential.

RE: Can we talk about the Muppets?
The Doozers were building with sugar basically, well sugar cane. They might have said it in the cartoon rather than the show itself but it was sugar and that's why the Fraggles liked to eat it when they passed by.

I wonder if that Fraggle movie is any further along the production line?

Guys, let me just lay some wisdom on you:

That substance they build out of isn't sugar cane. It's made out of radishes.
Also, it is theorized that if a Doozer stops building he will become a Fraggle.

I thought they were building with radishes, and because fraggles loved radishes they always ate it the constuction. My memory may be totally wrong about that. I am old.

When I rewatched them post-physical adolescence I assumed that whatever the Doozers were using was Fraggle Crack, but that might just be pre-mental adolescence me talking.

My high school drama league put on a student-written Fraggle Rock play, which culminated in Red Fraggle having an existential crisis. There was also some class war. It was pretty amazing.

I realize this totally sounds like the kind of thing I'd have dreamed, but, no, I've checked, and there's documentation.
